Guess the Grade-----1993-P Jefferson Commemorative Dollar

This should be a fun guess the grade. Since everyone has a 50-50 shot of getting it right, I would kindly ask all of you who vote MS69 to PM me what the imperfection is on the coin. I love the debate about whether people can tell the difference between MS69 & MS70. I doubt this thread will solve anything, but it should be fun nonetheless.

    1993-P Jefferson Commemorative Dollar

I feel compelled to mention that the little wispy white marks and spots on the obverse are on the holder not the coin. Feel free to ask questions and remember to vote in the attached poll.

    Have fun with this one!

Well Paul I said MS69 a while back, and PM'ed with my reasoning.
It seems as though it was wrong.
The coin just doesn't look like a 70. Just too many imperfections IMO. (Although 70's have imperfections too)
Care to tell us what you think?

This exercise is extremely difficult to conduct on the internet using photos. I have reviewed the PM's and although I can see some of the imperfections that are showing in the photographs, they do not show on the actual coin. I have examined this coin extensively and can only find one distraction that keeps if from getting a perfect grade. Look at the "E" in ARCHITECT.

I was going to say 69 because I thought there were nicks in the fields but obviously as you said it's not there.

Remember we allow pretty large attachments, so don't hesitate to post large images if you need to. Regardless, nice coin, I like the Reverse more then then the obv. though.
