TPG's are companies that verify the authenticity of coins, and assign them a grade (1-70).

PCGS The Standard for the Rare Coin Industry and/or http://www.ngccoin.com are a good start.

TPG's are companies that verify the authenticity of the coin, and also assign them a 'grade' 1-70.

PCGS The Standard for the Rare Coin Industry is a good start, as is NGC A Rare Commitment to Numismatics
