Default Proper Image Styles for Gallery

Members Galleries may have any numismatic image they wish, as long as they are acceptable in quality. If you can not follow the guidelines below, please put the image into your own gallery, and not a specific category.

For all other galleries, images must be as follows:
    • Overhead view, no angles, or a very slight angle is acceptable.
    • Background may be any color, but white is preferred.
    • Images must be at least 500x500 or higher, no thick borders to pad small images.
    • No blurry / out of focus images
    • Obverse AND Reverse in ONE IMAGE. This is important, images with one side and not the other will be immediately rejected, unless it's in your 'personal' gallery.
    • No images of slabs. Coins or Currency only, not the container they are in. If you need help editing the photo, check out the Numismatic Photography forum.
    • No multiple images of different coins or currency in one picture. Obverse and Reverse / Front and Back in one shot of the same item.
Again, please follow these guidelines to have your image go into our main image database, otherwise it will stay in your 'members galleries' section.

    Below is an acceptable image:
