All British Field Post Office-issued postal orders are very scarce or rare,as they aren't really meant to be out in the numismatic marketplace for security reasons.
This particular postal order came from someone who visited British Field Post Offices while on official business for the United Nations.
This one cost me US$15 back in 2005,but the second half of this pair came to me in 2008,thanks to my boss whose friend from London (England) found it at a stamp fair in Berlin,& allowed my boss to buy it for a bargain price - 2 Euros!

Perhaps this is why postal order collecting has now become accepted as a branch of numismatics,especially as a sub-branch of notaphily.
Some postal orders command huge prices at auction in England,especially for ones issued at British Field Post Offices that have been identified through research.
