      Notes and Information
      1834 $5 Plain 4 MS64 PCGS. First Head, Breen-6501, McCloskey 3-C, R.5. A gorgeous pumpkin-gold and sea-green near-Gem with a remarkably smooth obverse. The reverse is nearly as clean, and has only a couple of unimportant grazes. The area near the BER in LIBERTY is incompletely brought up, but the strike is nonetheless better than often seen.
