How do you know that this is a restrike?
It is very difficult to tell,being an aluminium coin.

Aidan,
According to Krause, the 1943 Proof coins (the one posted) were only listed as restrikes, whereas the plain 1943 were just general issue.

Thanks for letting us know what the difference is between the 'normal' coin & the Proof restrike is.
I once had one of the 'normal' coins in my collection.
