As the under-bidder of this coin in the 2009 September Long Beach Sale, I have always wondered about the legitimacy of the full step designation. The coin is a no brainer at the MS66 level but the photograph of the reverse seems to show significant blending of the steps between the 3rd and 4th pillars. Are the steps full and do you think the coin would have a shot at the full step designation if graded by NGC?
