      Greg,
      The AH date for this note is AH1379.

      Krause Publications is quite wrong in referring to the Sultanate's currency as the Rupee,as the denomination is quite clearly inscribed 'Rufiyaa' like on the notes that have been in circulation at various times since 1983.

      Check out the Maldivian banknote listings on http://www.zeno.ru ,& you will see that this is the case.
