Daniel,
This is an English coin from the King Henry VIII Posthumous Coinage that was struck during most of the reign of King Edward VI of England (1547-53).
A Groat is 4 Pence.
Aidan.

Thank for the info Aidan. There isn't a whole lot of references to coins outside the United States, so I have to use any details at my disposal. Much appreciated.

Daniel,
There is a catalogue called 'Coins of England & the United Kingdom' that comes out every year.
You can buy it here; http://www.spink.com .
The prices are all in Pounds Sterling.
Aidan.
