Why is your avatar what it is?

Simple enough! Why is your avatar what it is?

Mine is pretty simple, it's like one of the only toned coins I own! I think it's pretty sweet.

    What about yours?

Well I changed my avatar everywhere to this photo of Axl Rose.
Axl Rose is one the greatest singers of all time with his extreme vocal range, and while as a person he ain't the greatest, as a singer he is on the best.
I've always liked KISS as my favorite band, but always been most musically inspired by three people in rock, Bret Michaels, Axl Rose, and Scott Stapp.
I wear my Axl Rose shirt all the time, and I get compliments on how I look like him, as I have long hair, aviators, and wear bandannas. lol Really I pull off Bret's look pretty well too.
Anyway that is why I chose Axl, just a big inspiration, and I think I won't be changing my avatar anywhere, anytime soon.

As an avid collector of Jefferson Nickels, I found it only fitting that my avatar be a Jefferson Nickel. I also used this photograph as THE AVATAR for the Jefferson Nickel group here on CoinForums. To learn more about it click on this link to THE AVATAR

I like Axel Rose and Guns and Roses, but I much preferred your Jefferson Nickel avatar. As for inspiring musicians with extreme vocal range, I also have three. There names are John, Paul, and George.

Go up to the upper right hand corner, and go to the left, to where you find USER CONTROL PANEL. After that click on Edit Avatar under My Settings. The rest should be self explanatory.

I like the Beatles as well Paul.
I like all sorts of music, and any kind of rock. I've centered myself around the 80's though, stuck in the generation of hair metal. Poison, RATT, Warrant, Great White, Cinderella, and going a little harder, GN'R and Mötley Crüe.
And of course, my favorite band ever...KISS.

I first chose this avatar many moons ago without giving it much thought.......it's dimensions were small and would load quickly. Since then I've come to realize just how much I admire the date-less Type-1 SLQ; it is a humble coin and something most people would pass over, even though at one time it was, or at least could have been an MS-69 1916 master-class. My Avatar has come to be the coin I look to for wisdom......it's flashy "LOOK AT ME" luster has been worn down by the world and has turned from prince to pauper, but this SLQ has seen the world through thick & thin, Wars, Depressions and Good Times. It's a wise old legend, but doesn't show-off.
