    Welcome to the forum,

I don't collect casino chips, but I do work in a casino. The only time I bother to collect them is when I am playing poker, but I always cash them out at the end of the night.

However, I am interested in seeing some of your collection. Do you have any high denomination cheques?

Usually the old chips are destroyed. In the U.S. this is required by the Gaming commission. In Europe theres a different way to handle that, sometimes you can find them in the gift shop, but chips are cancelled by a drill hole. The only way to acquire them is taking them from the tables when you gamble.

Old chips are destroyed like he mentioned. Or it's like the playing cards they cut the corner of them, with chips they are drilled.

I have a bunch from places I've been too, like cruises and the bahamas and stuff, but nothing special.

I have about 100 casino chips now. I now only buy the ones from old defunct Texas casinos. I have a number of them from old Galveston.

Here is my roll from the Golden Nugget, the end is a a 1965.
I have never opened it and am looking to get an age one the roll.
I may consider selling it as it is a very unusual piece.
Any help with an age would be great.

It is good to collect the different types of poker chips for your home games and there are several online stores available from where you can buy them even at reasonable prices.
