Personally, I like the Heritage images.
Anyone know if I can get the high resolution images, or would I have to make a request via PCGS info? Has anybody been in this same situation?
Also. Here is Trueview on top, with Heritage 'Slab' image cropped out on the bottom. I don't have the coin in hand right now so I can't add my own image:

Here I like the Heritage image better, however I don't have this coin in hand to compare how they look in comparison. However the Heritage image is missing a lot of the coin because of the slab (look at the top reverse 'United States of America'
right you are. I missed that. I'm eventually going to start playing with photography. First, is a decent camera, perhaps I'll buy one before xmas.
no equipment at all. I had heard radio shack has some reasonably priced cameras, so I more than likely look there and at walmart as well.
Please do. I would spend roughly about $300.00 on equipment, which I think should adequately cover the needed basics.
You can easily get a Canon Powershot (Amazon.com: canon powershot) for $150-$200 and a copy stand (Copystands) around the same price. Make sure if you buy a copy stand that you either get one with lights, or buy separate ones that attach to it. You could also just buy a nicer camera, "make" your own copy stand and use desk lamps for your lights. You don't need anything fancy, but it does make life easier having a copy stand with lights attached. Take a look at Lehigh's setup in the photography section of the site, he ends up with nice results: http://www.coinforums.com/f15/diffus...ture-color-77/
edit: I will try to find my powershot and take an image or two today, I am assembling a new computer so I don't have all my software up and running, either.
