My Collection - What is your opinion?
This is just a part of my collection that I recently aquired and I have done a fair amount of research on each coin, but I would like a more open opinion. I do plan to have all these graded though but wanted some feedback first. Let me know what you think about any of them. Thanks

Hey Apollo.
I like the $20's you have - awesome. Did you buy them at that grade, or were they graded raw? If they were graded when you bought them, there's always a chance that you can get a + on them, or obviously one grade up. Maybe get them trueviewed too while they are at PCGS. The others look like they are worth sending out.
Sorry for such a late reply, I some how missed this thread!!

What are they morgans worth in your opinion? Rough estimate based on the pics
You must have bought the doubles raw when gold was cheap, eh?
I'm not very good at grading Morgans, however the dates are pretty good. Even the 1889-CC PCGS guide for a F4 is $475 and yours is much better then F4. The prices on the 1892-CC are nice. The 1899 looks PL, as does the 1881, but the 1899 in PL is worth more.
Sorry I can't help with the grades but I'd be way off on those.
Where did you pick these up? Do you have any books on grading?

I actually bought the 20s graded for 500 each!
I guess the girl didnt know what she had. I assumed it was her husbands or something you know and as for the morgans I picked all of them up for 400 total. I have a ton of books but I am just not experienced enough. I have intentions to send them in when I can get the time
