The left most is a Chinese Banknote that is one of the worlds smallest. They are 3-5/8" x 1-3/8"

    The second I don't know.

The third is 10 Sen from Japan (1944).

The fourth is Japanese also and it's 50 Yen which was printed from 1942-1945.

Pretty cool pieces. I love the Japanese currency the most!!

Hope this helps and welcome to the forums

    Thanks Jesh

I have had a devil of a time finding some that knew what any of them bills were. I have a few more Japanese pieces that I got from my cousin. He brought them back from him during WWII. I even have two of the square military currency and some confusing bills ( to me anyway). The exact wording is The JAPANESE GOVERNMENT FIVE CENTAVOS. I thought Centavos were Spanish?

That is world war II Japanese government issued Philippine fiat money. It's know as JIM or Japanese Invasion Money.

You can read much more about it here: Japanese invasion money - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia and see more images here: Japanese Invasion Money JIM - Japanese invasion paper money catalog and Japanese invasion currency history

The two top-left pieces are Chinese "rice" coupons. The communists rationed commodities and controlled them with these. there are thousands of different types. i have nearly 100 different types in inventory.
    regards,
    dave
